About Lucy-Anne
Lucy is a fat babe, a rebel and a body acceptance coach. She's both a qualified counsellor and qualified life coach. She is anti-diet, and pro self-love. Her mission is to help women accept their bodies so that they can be more confident and live their joy.
After spending far too much of her life trying to change her body, and being afraid to take up space in the world and follow her own joy, she thought she might try accepting her body instead, and it changed her life.
Lucy no longer spends time worrying about her body, or letting it hold her back from life. Instead, she follows her joy every single day, because there is nothing wrong with her body. And she wants you to know that there is nothing wrong with your body either.
Lucy is also a Mum to a firecracker 5 year old named Tilly, married to her best friend, and they live in the Perth Hills together with their Sausage Dog Kransky, rescue cat Buffy and new addition, Popcorn the axolotl.

Or when my kids are older, then I can do something for myself...
Or when I'm qualified or when I'm earning six figures in my biz then I’ll rest…
Today’s episode of Permission To is for YOU - it’s time to change the way you think about play and rest.
The reality is that the things you want to do rarely happen - instead you end up at the bottom of the to-do list feeling tired, unproductive and uninspired.
I honestly believe that in a society that’s obsessed with productivity and achievement, choosing rest and play is a radical act.
Especially in a culture that equates rest with laziness and success with constant hard work.
But what if we flipped it on it’s head and prioritised rest and play?!
Because you ARE important. And your needs are important too.
So in today’s episode I’m sharing the importance of having a balance between rest, play and work and some practical steps you can take to start making space for relaxation and fun in your life.

Welcome to the first official episode of Permission To.
I’m ready to dive into permission to own your worthiness and expand into your wildest dreams.
Self worth is one of my favourite topics to work on with my clients.
Over many years I’ve worked on my self worth to go from being in a toxic relationship and self sacrificing my needs at work and in my relationships to feeling as free as a bird, travelling the world, meeting a beautiful man, becoming a mama and starting my own 6 figure business.
This of course didn’t happen overnight - our self worth and the beliefs we have about our worthiness are built over a lifetime so it makes sense that they take time to shift.
In today’s episode I share a little bit of my personal journey with self worth as well as some practical practical tools with you that you can experiment with to own your worthiness.
I’m Sam Dhu, a positive psychology coach and qualified psychotherapist with over 15 years experience.
I’m also a Mama of a delightful 5 year old and am someone who loves to dance, a total foodie and lover of deep and meaningful conversations - I hate small talk!
You are in the right place right now if you want to build a life that feels magical and joyful. This is so possible for you.
